Ingredients & Substitutions

  • shrimp: Large or jumbo shrimp work best because they are juicier and won't overcook. Look for peeled, deveined shrimp with tails on. They make great finger food at parties.
  • olive oil: Use a high-quality extra virgin olive oil like Graza "Sizzle" EVOO. Alternatively, you can use avocado oil.
  • seasonings: A simple blend of lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. Experiment with different flavors and spices by using seasonings like Old Bay seasoning, a blend of oregano, basil, and thyme, or lemon pepper.
  • optional: For an extra crispy outside and even more flavor, toss the shrimp in panko bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
